About this session

How Digital teams are leveraging the power of AI and Machine Learning to build creative, disruptive and market-leading products.

Industry experts from IBM and InstaDeep, an AI consultancy, will share insight into how innovative teams are utilising tools such as IBM Watson, TensorFlow and enterprise scale Deep Learning applications to transform the products created today and gain insight into the future capabilities.

This session will be split into two parts, providing opportunities for further questions from our experts and the chance to connect with fellow guests over a few drinks and slices of pizza.

Session 1: Mark Woolnough, IBM

Mark will be showcasing how IBM’s executive clients are developing AI driven products and utilising tools such as IBM Watson, Bluemix, PowerAI and enterprise scale Deep Learning.

Mark has been with IBM since 2007, an experienced consultant, solutions architect and now provides expertise to IBM’s clients as a Machine Learning specialist.

Session 2: Karim Beguir, Instadeep

Karim will be showcasing the current perspectives in AI and Machine Learning and share insights into the technologies of future developments. He is on a mission to democratise AI and make it accessible to a wider audience.

As co-founder and CEO of InstaDeep, a graduate of France’s Ecole Polytechnique and former Program Fellow at NYU’s Courant Institute, Karim has a passion for teaching and using applied mathematics.
